The Mumbai real estate in January 2025, witnessed the sale of four luxury apartments by celebrities. The total sell value for them stands at Rs. 122.42 crore.

- Amitabh Bachchan
Recently, Amitabh Bachchan sold his duplex apartment in Mumbai’s Andheri for Rs. 83 Crore. The actor bought the same for Rs. 31 crore in April 2021. According to the report published in Hindustan Times, the apartment is on the 27th and 28th floors of a building named The Atlantis. The property widespread in 5,185 sq ft has an additional terrace balcony of over 4,400 sq ft.
The property registration took place on January 17th, 2025.
- Akshay Kumar
The actor and Padma Shri award receiver sold his luxury apartment in Borivali East, Mumbai this year. The property bought by the actor in November 2017 for Rs. 2.38 crore is sold for Rs. 4.25 Crore. A straight capital appreciation of 78% in four years. The property values are according to the report published in a leading real estate portal.

3. Sonakshi Sinha
The Dabang actress Sonakshi Sinha sold her apartment in Bandra, Mumbai this year. According to the document accessed by a leading real estate portal, the sale agreement was valued at Rs. 22.50 Crore. In March 2020, the actress bought the apartment for Rs. 14 Crore, and the sale resulted in a 61% capital gain.
4. Subhas Ghai
Bollywood’s ace director Subhas Ghai and his wife Mukta Ghai sold their apartment in Andheri, Mumbai recently. The property value stands at Rs. 12.85 Crore at the time of sale. The property was bought by the couple in August 2016, for Rs. 8.72 Crore.
After selling the apartment, the Ghai couple bought another apartment in Bandra, Mumbai for Rs. 24 Crore. The purchase for 4300 sq ft is recorded on February 03rd, 2025.

Aamir Khan buys Apartment in Mumbai’s Pali Hill for nearly Rs. 10 Crore
Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has bought an apartment in an upscale residential building at Pali Hill in Bandra West, Mumbai for nearly 10 crore.
According to property registration documents accessed and analysed by a real estate consultant shows Khan has executed the deed of transfer of a residential property in his name in Mumbai’s Bandra suburb. The actor acquired this prestigious property for Rs. 9.75 crore.
