DDA, the Delhi Development Authority plans to offer 173 premium flats in Dwarka. These residential units will be part of different sectors of the area. According to an official residential units will be offered under Dwarka Housing Scheme 2024.
The officials with knowledge about the development said the starting price for premium flats will be Rs. 1.28 crore. However, it can go up to Rs. 2.5 crore. The housing scheme mainly focuses on the housing needs of the middle-income group (MIG) and high-income group (HIG) of homebuyers.
Also, the allotment of these flats will be made via e-auction and DDA will announce dates for registrations and e-auction soon.
As per the Delhi Development Authority (DDA), these luxury flats will be part of Delhi’s larger plan of offering nearly 40,000 flats. It will have housing plans for economically weaker sections.
“Under DDA Dwarka Housing Scheme 2024, MIG and HIG category flats will be offered in Sectors 14, 16B, and 19B of Dwarka through e-auction process. This will provide an opportunity to people to own a house in the upscale area of Dwarka. About 173 flats are being offered under the scheme with starting price of Rs. 128 lakh,” the authority said.
Delhi Development Authority sanctioned the plan to float this scheme on 06th August. E-auction will take place to auction HIG and MIG apartments. Whereas, the allotment of LIG and EWS flats will be on a first come, first serve basis.
Parallel to the affordable housing scheme, the DDA also introduced the DDA Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme in 2024 to address the need for residential units. Under this scheme, LIG and EWS flats will be allotted at lower prices in Ramgarh Colony (northeast Delhi), Siraspur (northwest), Loknayakuram (West), Rohini (West), and Narela (north). These allotments will be made on a first come, first serve basis.
In the scheme, nearly 34,000 flats are to be allotted at a starting price of Rs. 11.5 lakhs. DDA under its General Housing Scheme 2024, offers 5,400 apartments to MIG, LIG, and EWS segments of the society. These flats will be available in Jasola (South), Loknayakpuram, and Narela and will be offered at last year’s pricing value. The starting price for these flats under the scheme will be Rs. 29 lakh.
