In a recent development, Brigade Group inked a JDA (Joint Development Agreement) with Agni Estates & Foundations Pvt Ltd for the development of office space. The deal worth Rs. 400 crore is part of a joint venture in Chennai, the capital city of Tamil Nadu. The development of this office space will take place in a leasing area of 8.36 lakh sq. ft.
The project named Brigade Tech Boulevard will offer premium grade ‘A’ office space bang on Pallavaram-Thoraipakkam road, Chennai. With twin tower design, the project will be the second commercial launch by the Bengaluru-based developer after the successful attainment of the ‘World Trade Center’.
Nirupa Shankar, Joint Managing Director, Brigade Enterprises Limited said, “Chennai is a diverse office market with demand from not only IT and ITeS sector but also from several other industry verticals including engineering, automotive, and banking, etc. Brigade Tech Boulevard will be of world-class quality, with significant focus on sustainability, similar to all our commercial developments across cities.”
She further said, “Given the pre-leasing commitments that Radial road has had in the past, we are confident that the leasing momentum would increase further with this development.”
Parallel to this, N Jayaprakash, chairman of Agni Estates & Foundations Pvt Ltd said, “We have partnered with Brigade for this project given their business acumen on delivering good returns on investment.”
